Flower delivery to Ostrov from Karlovy Vary
Ostrov lies on the Bystřice stream at the foothills of the Ore Mountains. It is about 10 km north-east of Karlovy Vary. In 2025, it had approximately 15,700 residents.
More recent research suggests that King John of Luxembourg confirmed Ostrov’s town rights in 1331 rather than granting them. Duke Julius Henry of Saxe-Lauenburg founded the chateau park in 1625, and in the 17th century it was called the eighth wonder of the world. The monastery complex beside the park includes the Church of the Annunciation and St Anne’s funerary chapel. The Red Tower of Death, a former uranium-ore sorting plant from the 1950s, has been part of the Erzgebirge/Krušnohoří Mining Region UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2019.
Kopretina Karlovy Vary delivers flowers from Karlovy Vary to Ostrov. A bouquet can be handed to the recipient at home or at work. In Ostrov, the hospital or one of the senior-care homes can also be a handover location. Flowers can also be handed over at schools, the town hall, the cultural centre or a hotel.
